Water main to be replaced
You may have noticed construction activity along 7th Avenue recently. The City of Phoenix is working to replace aging underground water infrastructure in our area.
Water main replacement is expected to continue on to Peoria Avenue between 15th Avenue and 11th Avenue before the project is completed.
This project is scheduled to continue through May of 2019. There may be intermittent interruptions in water service as connections are replaceed, but the goal is to keep any service disruptions very short and to a minimum.
If you have questions about the project, you can call the project hotline at 602-235-2896, or you can learn more about the project from the publication found at this link:
HOA refuses to make repairs
Our community has one common feature available to residents - a permanent charcoal grill and picnic area, located at west side of the cul de sac at the end of our street near the top of the hill. This common area is for the use and enjoyment of all residents. If you use this area, please be considerate of neighboring units and do not block their driveways.
Unfortuately, this community amenity has not been maintained by the community homeowner's association. Despite repeated reports of the amenity being in disrepair, Cherry Hills Townhomes HOA refuses to perform their duties, as defined by our CC&R's, and keep up this common area feature. If you find this unacceptable, make your voice known, and demand that Cherry Hills Townhomes HOA do it's job.
Remember, there is NO PARKING on our narrow street! City service vehicles (as well as Emergency vehicles) may not be able to navigate our street if it is congested with parked cars. Remember: the only allowed exception to the parking regulation is commercial service vehicles in the course of providing services to a unit, during normal business hours.
